All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and may be transferred one time only. Client must contact stylist. Confirmation and Cancellation Policy. We request 72 hours when rescheduling & 48 hours notice when cancelling a service(s). Please confirm your appointment at least 24 hours prior, so the staff will be prepared to provide the best service. If we can not contact you before your appointment, we will consider that as a cancellation. A cancellation or No Show within 48 hours will result in loss of deposit. Due to scheduling commitments to other clients, we may need to reschedule any appointment for which you are more than 15 minutes late.

"“Do I come with my hair washed and blow-dried?”

All services include a shampoo and conditioning service. All clients will receive the entire experience. I will only work on properly cleansed hair.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR MY CURLY CUT APPOINTMENT W/ ALX ?

{DO’S & DONT’S}

DON'T arrive with a ponytail, bun, twist out, roller-set, perm-rod set, curl-former, etc. or any style that stretches or changes your hair's natural curl pattern.

DON'T brush, pick or comb your hair out the day of your service.

DON'T style your hair with products that are excessively sticky or greasy/oily. For example, shea butter or coconut oil. Also any products with heavy perfume or fragrance.

​DO cleanse, condition and style your hair curly (with product) the day of your appointment.

DO have your hair thoroughly dry.

DO come with an open mind ready to accept and love your hair in all its natural glory!

Start using a zero lather cleanser along with a "cone" free conditioner and styler. Do not straighten your hair leading up to your appointment.

What is a silk press?

A silk press is a hairstyling technique that uses a blow-dryer and flat iron to straighten your hair without a chemical relaxer. While it’s easy to think that a silk press for natural hair is the same as a traditional press and curl, this style ups the ante. Silk press hair is all about applying less heat to your strands to give your mane movement, body, and a shiny finish—sans the weighed down look a standard press and curl can provide. Stiff hair is officially a thing of the past.

We are located in the heart of University place, tacoma. In the same lot as the round table pizza.
